Diane Pechulis

Employment Specialist

Diane Pechulis serves as the Employment Specialist for our Teen Institutes. Her background includes careers in both the public and private sectors.

As a student, Diane worked her way through college as an office temp at various banks, law firms and insurance companies. She earned her baccalaureate in Design from Buffalo State University where she spent her junior year on exchange at Bowling Green State University. After graduation, she gained expertise in the home furnishings industry by working at paint, wallcoverings, window treatments, flooring and furniture retailers. Diane’s friendly personality and artistic approach to residential interiors soon allowed her to provide independent design consultations to her growing clientele.

With a changing market over the years, Diane pivoted her career and worked for non-profit organizations in membership, educational outreach and event planning roles. She has also found rewarding experiences in volunteer leadership roles including serving as a Girl Scout leader, a coach for Future City Competition middle school student team, and as an area coordinator for international high school exchange students. Diane’s community engagement and teen mentoring experience has led her to Mission Accomplished Transition Services where she is making a positive impact on the growth of teenagers as they navigate their career interests and place in the world.

In addition to her work with Mission Accomplished, Diane runs an online vintage shop, enjoys conducting genealogical research, nature photography, and finding the extraordinary in the ordinary.
