Care Package Coordinator,Career and Readiness Essentials Initiative Education

Megan Cooper serves as the Education Care Package Coordinator overseeing the Education Care Package + Career Education Series for Mission Accomplished Transition Services. In this position, Megan utilizes her background in marketing, photography + videography, community organizing and community outreach to expand this initiative to new schools and educational platforms. Megan’s role allows her to empower youth from around New York State to engage with their professional goals and aspirations while participating in the scholarship program.

Megan attained her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Sociology from the Community College of Vermont and is now pursuing a Baccalaureate Degree in Social Work at The College of Saint Rose. Her true passion for supporting individuals in times of hardship and times of success motivates her to engage in numerous volunteer opportunities around the Capital Region which focus on uplifting people in marginalized communities of color and socioeconomic status.

Megan brings with her over 10 years of customer service experience, 7 years of marketing and videography experience, 5 years of property management experience and 5 years of community organization and advocacy experience. Through the various professional and educational roles Megan has fulfilled she continues to analyze and reflect on new and creative ways to engage with her community as a whole.
