Shayna Davner

Senior Operations and Contract Specialist

Shayna Davner has stepped into the role of Scholarship Education Specialist. In this role, she helps co-lead the C.A.R.E. initiatives, including the Education Care Package Scholarship Program, the Virtual Scholarship Series, and the Virtual Gap Year Series, aimed at removing the economic barriers for young adults transitioning into the next phase of their lives. She brings her experiences, outstanding organization skills and her commitment to social justice.

Shayna obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business from St. Lawrence University, and is currently working towards her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University at Albany. She has worked with children in many capacities, teaching elementary school English for many years, and as well working as a youth basketball coach and tutor. Through this, she gained a passion for helping children and families get the support needed for successful outcomes. She is passionate about mental health advocacy and community involvement, and is thrilled to use her skill set in a new manner at Mission Accomplished Transition Services.

Shayna says:

I chose to join the Mission Accomplished Transition Services team because the minute I stepped into the workspace, I could feel how passionate Coach Carmen and the other team members were about the mission and vision, and I wanted to be a part of that.
