Vallencia Lloyd

Vallencia Lloyd retired from Partners Health Plan (PHP) in New York City where she was the Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer. PHP is a Fully Integrated Duals Advantage health insurance program for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Prior to her employment with Partners Health Plan, Ms. Lloyd worked for the New York State Department of Health as the Director of the Division of Managed Care where she was responsible for the certification, regulation and oversight of the State’s managed care industry and the Medicaid managed care program. After 34 years of State service, Ms. Lloyd retired from the Department of Health in December 2015.

Vallencia grew up in Brooklyn, New York and attended SUNY Albany (SUNYA) where she received her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communication and a Master’s in Public Administration (Organizational Management). While attending SUNYA, she met her husband of 36 years, Curtis Lloyd and they were blessed with two sons: Curtis Donovan and Jordan Demetrius. Ms. Lloyd is also a Board member of Capital Repertory Company.
