We are grateful to Jeanie and Avril for bringing this benefit concert to the Capital Region in support of Mission Accomplished transition Services.
AVRIL’S BIO: Rooted in the warmth of 70s soul and the intimacy of 90s neo-soul, R&B singer-songwriter Avril makes music that feels like a long exhale – the kind that reminds you everything is going to be okay. Drawing inspiration from the greats who shaped the genre – D’Angelo, Musiq Soulchild, and the timeless artistry of John Legend’s Get Lifted and Alicia Keys’ (As I Am) – Avril is crafting a sound that’s as soulful as it is deeply personal.
At the heart of that sound is a simple, powerful intention: to meet people inside their hardest moments and walk them through to the other side. Warm, hopeful, and full of earned confidence, the music holds space for difficult emotions while insisting that light is always within reach.
A graduate of the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU, Avril has spent years building a career at the intersection of music and industry – leading marketing and project management efforts for artists including Sabrina Carpenter, SOFI TUKKER, Kah-Lo, and Icona Pop. Now, armed with that expertise and a deep creative vision, Avril is turning that same dedication inward – with new music on the way in 2026 and a live performance at Nine Pin Cider to support Mission Accomplished and usher in this new chapter.
