The Teen Fashion + Beauty internship program is an 8-month paid work experience for teens, ages 16-18, who desire to pursue a leadership and/or community educator role in the fashion and/or beauty industries.
This work experience gives insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of roles that develop educational programs and hands-on learning experiences that help teens learn how to prepare for careers in construction, design and/or public art. You will develop marketable industry and business/entrepreneurial skills while giving back to the community preparing you for future leadership positions.
Our earn-while-you-learn model assure you get paid while you are preparing to enter the workforce. You will receive a $1,500 stipend with monthly payments.
As a student intern you will gain hands-on experience by learning directly from experienced industry professionals and receive personalized mentorship.
Throughout the program, you’ll explore current industry trends, learn about professional and business requirements, and build meaningful lasting relationships with like minded peers and industry professionals.

My experience in the Teen Fashion + Beauty internship was invaluable. It helped shape my aspirations to pursue a career in fashion design. Through hands-on learning and mentorship from coco, I have honed my event planning skills and improved my ability to communicate effectively with others. These skills will serve me well as I work towards working in such a competitive, creative industry.
The internship works to help dismantle barriers that often restrict access to leadership roles in the fashion and beauty industries—especially for women and Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)—by providing teen creatives with the industry knowledge, mentorship, and networks you need to turn your passion into purpose and create a lasting impact in your communities.
