Welcome to the website of Mission Accomplished Transition Services (“Mission Accomplished,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at matransitionservices.org (the “Site”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site, including our content, forms, online store, and donation pages.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Mission Accomplished Transition Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 46-0861110) providing career and business education, coaching, mentoring, and sponsorship to young professionals and entrepreneurs, serving Albany, Rensselaer, and Schenectady Counties in New York State.
You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Many of our programs serve teens. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Program applications and registrations for participants under 18 must be completed or approved by a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on the minor’s behalf.
Information about our programs, internships, workshops, master classes, and events is provided for general information and may change. Submitting an application, registration, or inquiry through the Site does not guarantee acceptance, placement, employment, or any particular outcome. Participation in a program may be subject to additional agreements, eligibility requirements, codes of conduct, and consent forms.
Donations to Mission Accomplished Transition Services are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your gift. Online donations are processed through a third-party donation platform and are subject to that platform’s terms.
Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us within 30 days and we will work with you in good faith to resolve the issue. We use donations to support our mission and programs and may redirect restricted gifts if the original purpose can no longer be fulfilled, in a manner consistent with your intent and applicable law.
Purchases from our online store support our programs, students, and team. We strive to describe products and prices accurately, but we do not guarantee that all descriptions, images, prices, or availability information are error-free. We reserve the right to correct errors, limit quantities, and refuse or cancel any order, including after it has been placed. If an order is cancelled after payment, we will issue a refund.
Prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include applicable taxes or shipping unless stated. Payment is processed by third-party payment processors. Questions about returns, exchanges, damaged items, or order issues should be directed to us using the contact information below; any return or exchange terms shown on a product page or at checkout also apply.
Store purchases are sales of goods and are not charitable donations. Only the portion of a payment, if any, that exceeds the fair market value of goods received may be tax-deductible.
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, workbooks, checklists, webinars, Passion Wins Magazine, and the Mission Accomplished name and marks, are owned by or licensed to Mission Accomplished and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Photographs may be the work of credited third-party photographers.
You may view, download, and print content from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial, educational use, provided you keep all copyright and other notices intact. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or otherwise use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
When you submit information, messages, stories, feedback, or other content to us, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it is accurate. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your submission to respond to you, operate our programs, and improve our services. We will not publish your name, photograph, or personal story without your permission (or, for minors, the permission of a parent or guardian).
Content on the Site, including advice, checklists, workbooks, webinars, articles, and coaching resources, is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice. You should consult a qualified professional regarding your specific situation. The Site may contain links to, or use services provided by, third parties, including our donation platform, payment processors, and social media pages. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites or services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mission Accomplished and its directors, officers, staff, volunteers, coaches, mentors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed the amount, if any, you paid to us through the Site in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mission Accomplished and its directors, officers, staff, and volunteers from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Albany County, New York, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
