The Construction + Design Institute: Artist in Construction is a new career and business development program with the goal to assist emerging muralists with fine tuning their business skills and how to influence an increase in murals on commercial and large residential buildings across the Capital Region of New York.

The Ideal Candidates
Age: 18-35
Candidate Status: We are seeking motivated, coachable muralist and graphic designers who embrace honest feedback, desire to improve their skills and knowledge about the business behind the being and artist and construction industry. Candidates must have 2+ years experience working in one of the below career paths:

Institute Tuition
$1, 250 for early – mid stage entrepreneurs (true value $5,000+) – supports the cost of a 1night/2day artist business trip, weekly coaching, supplies, workbook, dinner at each session, RT travel and overnight accommodations to business trips and your custom business toolkit. PAYMENT PLANS ARE OFFERED.
LEARN
You will learn from seasoned industry professionals in the fields of art, business, mindset strengthening and marketing. You will gain clarity on next steps, get insider tips on how to market yourself as an influential asset to companies and your peers within the artist community. Lastly, you will be paired with a mentor to assist you with staying on tract!
EXPLORE
Travel with us to connect with other established artists and explore public art work in a major city close to the Capital Region. You will learn behind-the-scenes logistics to creating unique public art communities and how to effectively work closely with members within the construction industry.
WORK
Through the Institute we will help you identify potential employment and freelance opportunities that will allow you to create public art. Opportunities will be presented to students who demonstrate high reliability, commitment, grit and passion.
LAUNCH
Through the Artist in Construction you will become a better version of yourself while deepening your knowledge of industry trends, implementing marketable action plans and achieving your goals.
