Scholarship Workshops

Students and adult supports participate in webinars and informational workshops that educate you about various scholarship opportunities that can fund college, trade school, gap year or an entrepreneurial journey.  Understanding and finding scholarships that are a best fit for any given career field can be daunting.  Mission Accomplished provides these informative sessions to enable participants to minimize stress about paying for advanced education options, dream big and discover ways to finance your career goals.

Presenters will highlight thou$and$ of dollar$ in financial aid that help fund advanced education options as well as tips to create winning applications.

These workshops are for people:

  • in a college or trade school
  • preparing to go to college or trade school
  • enrolled in or interested in a gap year program, or
  • on or preparing to be on an entrepreneurial journey

Gap Year Workshops

Gap Year workshops educates students and adult supports about the value of gap year programs and how to fund them. The workshops will prepares students for future work informing them of educational and preparatory opportunities as well as study abroad and experiential learning that will enhance their future success.

Through gap year programs students will discover professional and educational options they may have not previously considered. A gap year is often an opportunity for students to take a step back from their academic rigor, take advantage of time off to define what motivates them in life.  The concept of a gap year has been gaining popularity and momentum over the years in the United States. Colleges and universities are increasingly addressing and often recommending a productive gap year.
